Integrating play into learning.... Children play card games and learn at the same time =)The children enjoy their writing tasks in groups as well =)All these make learning enjoyable =D
Last Friday, 20th February, P2A went on a Learning Journey at the LTA Gallery. The children were very excited and eager to learn new things about the different modes of transport in Singapore.
They learnt how the different types of transportation have evolved from the past to the present. They climbed on the rickshaw and the mosquito bus. They also tried their hands at an interactive game towards the end of the visit. The game was testing them on their decision in choosing a particular mode of transport for Singapore 2020. Should there be more roads built? How about having more underground tunnels? But wouldn't that cost a lot in building and maintaining?
It was indeed an informative trip. Here are some pictures to capture the moment:
During MLEA, pupils contribute to the Class Writing. The teacher writes what the pupils dictacte. Then, pupils split into their groups for the Group Writing.
Thereafter, it is the Individual Writing whereby pupils write their story individually.

The Ministry of Education has launched the new Stellar Website. It was shared during the annual English HOD meeting held on 5th August 2008. I am glad to announce and share the official Stellar Website with the Staff, Pupils and Parents of Endeavour Primary School.
Currently, there are a lot of resources for parents and students(P2) especially. Some of the pages like the Teachers' Resource Pages are still under construction.
I will add this website to the links in our Stellar Blog!
Hi all, In line with the Big Book - Shark In A Park, our Stellar team decided to visit the Jelutong Harbour Park for their MLEA experience. Some of the P1 classes have taken a walk there and have completed their Class Dictated Writing! Pupils completed a set of activity worksheets as well. They have given feedback that they had enjoyed themselves and have learnt many vocabulary words related to the theme. Here are some photos of P1E!!!
On 30th July, the Seedbuzz visited our school. The teachers boarded the SEEDBUZZ, which consists of presentations of various lessons and programmes planned by other schools. Thus, we had the golden opportunity to learn about how STELLAR and the SEED programmes are being conducted in other schools as well. This served as a great learning platform for all teachers. It was indeed an enriching experience for us!!
